| The class will Start out as a general free time weightlifting session. All that is asked of them will be to keep busy. After a few weeks, running will become regular (2 times a week). Every month we will "Max out" (figure out what the max weight each person can lift is) then we will compare that to the previous month and compete between the classes for top total weight gain. |
|
The rules are as followed:
- Be on time for class and participate every day. Participation is the most important part of this class. Your fitness level will not improve without moving. You need to be involved in every class workout. You will not be allowed to sit and observe. This is a participatory class.
- Treat everyone with respect. Since this is a fitness class, minor discipline problems will result in extra fitness work. If the student does not want to do the extra work they will be referred to the office for further punishment. Any major discipline problems will be an automatic referral to the office. If the discipline interferes with the student workout, then they will have their grade lowered.
- All valuables should be left at home or locked in a locker.
- No gum, food, or drinks during class time.
- The locker room will be available before and after class. If the student feels the need to use the shower I will allow some extra time.
- Proper attire is required. Gym shoes are needed for each workout. No sandals or blue jeans will be allowed. Students will wear clothing that meets the school dress code. No cut off shirts or muscle shirts. Shorts must be around your waist(not hips) and go down to your middle finger when standing straight and arms hanging down.
Grading: 70% participation 15% Mid Term 15% Final
